Andrew Lee Potts


Andrew Lee Potts was born on 29 October 1979 in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

He attended Leeds Performing Arts School and began his career in Musical Theatre. He has appeared in many British television shows, including Children’s Ward, Heartbeat, Daziel and Pascoe, Strange, Foyle’s War, Fat Friends, Dead Fish, Rose and Maloney and Taggart.

He is currently starring as cast regular Connor Temple in ITV’s science fiction series Primeval, appearing alongside his real-life fiancee, Hannah Spearritt.

He also appeared on Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks’s Band of Brothers, where he played a PVT Jackson, killed by the wound from his own grenade. He appeared in the film adaptation of Stephen King’s 1408. He also appeared in the sequel to the 1999 film remake of House On Haunted Hill titled Return to House on Haunted Hill. He is also an amateur director with Keychain Productions and has made short films like Blood on benefits, Idance! and Colour Blind.
He is the brother of actress Sarah-Jane Potts.
