Hannah Spearritt

Hannah Spearritt, born on April 1, 1981 in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England, had a one-time modeling gig with Mothercare when she was 3. However, Hannah wanted a life in performing arts, so at 12 years old, she won a part in the Great Yarmouth Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society production of “Annie.” Three years later, she auditioned to become a part of the National Youth Music Theater, where she participated in several plays such as “Pendragon,” “Tin Pan Ali,” and “Bugsy Malone.”

Spearritt switched to TV and won a minor part in the TV film “The Cater Street Hangman” in 1998, followed by a gig in “Blue Peter” and the “National Lottery Show.” While in college studying performing arts, media studies and mathematics, Hannah Spearritt saw a magazine ad for an S Club 7 audition and won a spot in the group beating over 10,000 applicants. From 1999 to 2003, she became a part of the pop group sensation S Club 7, won numerous awards, joined three UK tours, co-starred in a movie entitled “Seeing Double” and appeared on several TV series such as “Miami 7,” “L.A. 7,” “Hollywood 7” and “Viva S Club.” During this time, Hannah Spearritt has been featured on FHM’s most-sexiest list for four consecutive years and shocked the group’s fans when she admitted a relationship with fellow S Club member Paul Cattermole since 2001.

When S Club 7 disbanded on May 2003, Hannah Spearritt switched to acting professionally, jump-starting her career with a role in the family adventure flick “Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London.” To change her squeaky-clean image from S Club 7, Hannah appeared in the horror film “Seed of Chucky” in 2004. Other film credits of Hannah Spearritt include the three-chapter short film entitled “Little Lilly,” which was released in 2007 and 2008.

Aside from films, Hannah has also appeared on several TV shows, including the sitcom “Blessed” and the ‘At Bertram’s Hotel’ TV adaptation “Marple.” Hannah Spearritt also landed her first major role in the sci-fi series “Primeval.”
